MARGAO: Using a concentration on decreasing deaths and hospitalisations due to Covid-19, the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) has started combatting vaccine hesitancy through social networking.
The group is currently collecting images of vaccine Couples from elevated risk classes like cancer survivors and individuals with coronary disease and influencers.
These are subsequently being dispersed to encourage other people to get inoculated.
‘Be Careful’ and then’get vaccinated’ messages follow the images of an 85-year-old heart, and cancer survivor on blood thinners, a lactating mother and lots of other people, such as a lecturer in Carmel College, a Redemptorist priest, also a fisherman in the Xaxti Riders band, respectively, all those who have taken the disease.
“We strive to set up posters of people who have comorbidities and allow mothers to tell folks the vaccine is with this particular group of individuals too and you should not stay away only because of comorbidities.
As soon as you receive a goahead from your physician, please choose the medicine,” one member stated.

“The entire idea is to lower mortalities and hospitalisation,” said association president Dr Rita Vas.
