Panaji: Head of Kunal Election Officer said residents whose names were left behind from the selection roll still had the opportunity to include their names until January 18.
“Every form received until January 18 will be processed.
After the revised revision if there are still remaining voters, we have open channels – the helpline selector application, NSVP portal or they can contact their Booth level officer or call Helpline 1950 if anyone faces difficulties, Until January 18th.
There is an opportunity to submit to the inclusion of the name, “Kunal said.
Goa’s has a high percentage of 1.6 Voters for the first time – 26,297 people in the age group 18-19.
To ensure fewer crowding at the polls booth, 80 additional polling booths have been added, taking a total voting station to 1,722 where an average of 672 voters per boot which is the lowest in this country.
Kunal said that seniors over the age of 80 years and people with disabilities have a choice of voting from their homes through postal papers.
The designated voting team will visit their homes “along with videographers to record the entire process and then take back their postal ballots and send them to the officers who returned,” Kunal said.
The voting team has the right to be present there and will ensure the confidentiality of voting.
