Goa: Civic Quepem facilities do not have staff, suffer from public

Quepem: With only four of the eight counters at the Operational Quepem (Gel) GOA ELECTRONICS LTD facility, the place is crowded, making it difficult to follow social distance.
This facility also does not have adequate staff leading to a long wait.
“There is one counter for applicants who are looking for birth certificates, deaths, residents, income and caste, survey plans and forms I and XIV.
People can see 50 people or more in the queue on almost every day,” said Sukhtankar Audhot Local.
Others who recently visited the facility said the turn came after an hour waiting.
“The queue moves slowly because there are only four people on duty.”
