PANAJI: Students from class IX to XII are likely to return to school for physical classes before Diwali, said Minister of Pramod Sawant on Wednesday.
Sawant said that the recommendation of the Expert Committee – suggested the reopening of the school for higher class students – will be placed in the presence of the state assignment unit.
The decision of the task force will then be forwarded to the education directorate for implementation, Sawant said.
The task force tends to meet next week to decide, said CM.

The main minister on Wednesday launched Nishtha 3.0, an online training program to improve the skills of pre-primary school teachers and elementary schools.
The program will include 12 modules, which include basic literacy and counting.
Overall 5,602 teachers, 1,408 teaches at the pre-primary level and the rest at the primary level, are scheduled to receive training in online mode between October 2021 and March 2022, the Minister’s Minister said, said Minister said.
