PANAJI: Chief minister Pramod Sawant on Sunday inaugurated a solar power-based electrification programme for rural families in the nation.
Having a watch on 100 percent electrification, this job provides energy through renewable energy into regions where grid isn’t feasible.
The job will be due to an agreement signed with the Goa energy improvement service (GEDA) with Convergence electricity services restricted (CESL).
The job Sawant declared will be CESL’s very first civic participation, and will set up and maintain photovoltaic (PV) systems for 5 years under the administration’s distant village electrification program.
