Margao: Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant on Friday said that the government would ensure the development of Dharbandora Taluka by bringing several development projects.
Stating that development projects are very important to ensure the progress of Dharbandora which remains relatively backwards, Sawant urges people to cooperate with the government in establishing new projects in the newly carved taluka.
“The government is interested in carrying various projects in Dharbandora about land owned by the government which will lead to the development of the area.
People must welcome these projects.
The government is considering carrying an educational project here.
Campus IIT, a forensic institution, or school National Law – Anyone from these projects is likely to be established in Dharbandora, “Sawant said while speaking in public functions in Dharbandora as part of his Sanvordem constituency tour.
Overcoming the meeting later at Sanvordem, sawant holding opposition leaders drawn by Kamates responsible for the current mining crisis.
“Has 88 mining rentals were not updated in time during the term of office being drawn for the main minister, this situation arising from the cancellation of mining leases would not appear.
And now they blame me because of mining problems,” Sawant said.
He also blamed Kamat, along with the Minister of Power and Narvestar, for poor telecommunications infrastructure in the state that leads to the current internet connectivity.
Furthermore, he said that he suspected fraud in the telecommunications policy of “disability” in 2009 which was signed during their term of office.
