PANAJI: The day after the State lifts restrictions on universities and allows them to have a class on campus, the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) has asked the principal to develop a method in physical mode.
The new academic year 2021-22 starts on September 1 for general flow.
“Head of educational institutions under the scope of the DHE can make the right decision to conduct classes in physical mode for the new academic year 2021-22 based on the land reality and the availability of infrastructure, after following the sooc related to the Covid-19 pandemic,” said the Director of Higher Education Prasad Lolayekar in a circle.
All university staff who are not vaccinated, must produce RT-PCR test reports every week, Lolayekar said.
This will not apply to those who cannot be vaccinated because they are positive or covid.
“The situation of the soil varies from universities to universities, and therefore, it is not feasible to remove the SOP or plan together to do physical classes throughout the college.
Some have 3,000 undergraduate students, while others only have several students.
