Saligao: The congress on Friday approached the Head of Secretary of Parimal Rai and the Head of Election of Kunal’s election requested an independent judicial investigation into the alleged gap of government recruitment.
The party also demands that the ongoing recruitment process be suspended until the probe is complete.
In his written appeal, Congress also accused BJP to sell government work.
“There are more corruption that occur because they are employed after giving bribes for work, try to recover the money they pay as bribes from citizens of Goa to pay off their loans or money borrowed from friends and family,” said the President of North Goa District Vijay Bhike.
“Sales of government work” has left students to work in frustration.
Congress said that vacancies in PWD, the Directorate of Account, Port Captain, Ministry of Health and Food and Narcotics Administration are filled through fraud.
“It’s a serious problem and there is a need to take action.
High-level committees must be immediately appointed to review all the candidates who have been designated during this period because of their ability if they qualify for the post,” Bhike said.
Former Calangute Mla Agnelo Fernandes, who is also part of the delegation, said BJP MLA MLANAASIO MONSERRATE has stated that the PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar along with other MLA from the government sold positions through a manipulated test.
