Panaji: In a surprising revelation that will determine the political tongue that waved, the Minister of Science and Technology Michael Lobo on Friday said that the Congress and the AAM AADMI Party (AAP) had approached it with offers to join their parties.
BJP legislator twice from Calangute gives a sufficient indication of his greater political ambition, stating that he can play an important role in Goa and that he should not be limited to Bardez Taluka.
“We will play an important role in the next assembly selection,” Lobo said.
Political observer shows that this is a subtle lobo message to BJP that he needs to be given a greater role in the party for things related to the election.
In the past few months, it seems that lobo did not enjoy the freedom he had ever had in Bardez’s political arena.
In speculation that he was related to the Congress, said Lobo, “political parties are always related to doing MLAS,” Lobo said.
He also said that there was nothing wrong with those who approached MLA.
“It’s up to us to decide on our future courses.
We are at BJP for the past 15 years,” he said.
When asked whether Congress also approached him, Lobo said, “When the election approached, the leaders of political parties would approach MLA.
Many people join BJP, even many Congress members join BJP.” By stating that he worked for Goa people, lobo said, “Even people came to meet me from Tiswadi, Pernem, Mayem and Mandrem to ask for help.
I helped them in whatever way I could.
I never told them that they were not from my constituency, or that they were Must go to MLA or their respective ministers, “while insisting that as political representatives they must work for the people of Goa.
