Goa: Emergency personnel in a hurry to clean down trees, road beams

PANAJI: Even though Saturday brings a break from bad weather, the fire department and emergency services continue to be stored with toes with more than 20 emergency calls made by local residents panicking on Saturday.
The department saved 424 individuals who were transferred due to flooding while also responding to 19 aid calls because the trees fainted and clogged roads.
The department responded several calls after the trees came crashing into the road, compound walls and at home.
The incident, said firefighting officials, small with maximum losses were estimated to rs 20,000.
In parcem, the electric transformer is burned which is assisted by the Pernem fire station.
To track emergency operations, the fire department and emergency services have launched a direct monitor to track all emergency incidents in the state.
Live Call Tracker, which has been developed at home, categorizes the type of call that allows officials and respondents to monitor and prioritize emergency response.
Over the past few days, firefighting personnel from Bicholim, Valpoi, Ponda, Kundi, and firefighting stations have helped save people from the flood area.
Lifeguards of Drishti’s life rescue services joined in rescue operations and helped shift stranded to a higher place.
Most emergency calls received by the department are caused by bad weather conditions.
