For the 2021-22 session, because the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic, GCET was only done in the second week of July, much slower than the usual schedule in May.
This delays the entire acceptance process for the current academic year, with only one round of acceptance for engineering and pharmacies resolved so far.
With a 2021-22 academic cycle delayed, there is a possibility that there will be changes in the next academic cycle too.
About 3,000 students appear for gcet every year to enter the technical and pharmaceutical shell.
Acceptance to Medicine, Dentistry, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Nursing and Five Chairs The title of Allied Health Program in Goa was held based on the National Feasibility Test (NEET) (UG).
Similarly, acceptance for architectural programs is held through national talent tests in architecture.
This gcet consists of an objective type paper of 75 marks, without negative marking.
This was done by the Directorate of Technical Education and the help of the team from IIT Bombay.
The answer is read by the machine, which ensures the declaration of results in less than a week since the test ends.
