PANAJI: Twelve years after the education rights (RTE) emerged, the state government finally told the norms for the feasibility test of Goa Teachers (GTET).
In accordance with the provisions of the RTE Law, it is important for a teacher to qualify in tests that must be employed to teach from class I to VIII.
But for 12 years, Goa did not apply the requirements and notice of these norms to finally open the way for GTET to be held from 2021.
“The Goa Government is happy to declare that people who wish to become teachers in teachers in class I For VIII (SD must be asked to fulfill the GTET requirements.

The state said that answering the exam and qualifications would be mandatory for the teacher who was appointed to teach from class I to VIII, even If the school does not receive a grant from the state government.
Three years ago, around 800 government elementary school teachers were recruited and the state had set the condition that they had to clean up the GTET for their services to be confirmed.
But the test was not carried out and the teachers continue to teach based on their selection done through a written test.
Starting this year, two separate gtets will be done – for those who are YAN G want to teach class I and for those who want to teach class VIII to VIII.
“All questions on GTET will be a multiple choice question (MCQ), with four alternatives where one answer will be the most appropriate.
Every question will bring one sign and there will be no negative sign for the wrong response,” notification said.
Someone must score 60% or at least 90 of the 150 values in the exam to pass.
Scerter will issue a certificate to all candidates who have successfully qualified in GTET.
“The certificate must apply to a lifetime.
There is no limit on the number of efforts that someone can do to obtain a GTET certificate.
Someone who has a quality GTET can also appear again to increase the score,” said the country.
