Panaji: National President of BJP JP JP Nadda said on Sunday that the state government would continue with three linear projects – expansion of Panaji-BelagaVavi NH, the Tamnar power transmission project and multiple tracking railways – which cut biodiversity.
Hotspot from Mollem.
Asked to react to expanding opposition with these projects, Nadda said, “I do not know the project details, but I have been told that there are two projects before the Supreme Court Committee.” “One project was removed by the Supreme Court Committee, and others were on our way,” said BJP President.
Recently, the Central Empowerment Committee of the Supreme Court said that there was no justification for advancing with a double tracking project.
Nadda said the state government would face the environmental committee.
“We will move forward democratically,” he said.
He added that Flyover, Underpass, Metro, Development, Connectivity, National and International Airports will be seen in countries ruled by BJP.
“In countries that are ruled by the Congress, you will hear fraud and corruption, and this is a Congress culture,” he said.
Congress has announced that if they choose an office in Goa, they will memo three linear projects.
“As far as BJP concerning, it is a synonym of progress, and as far as congressing, it is a synonym of irregularities,” he said.
“It is the task of the congress to block everything and the BJP target is to continue the development, and we will continue,” he said.
Three projects have seen sustainable opposition over the past year.
Toi has highlighted that biodiversity experts and wildlife believe that the three-sponsored infrastructure projects have the potential to worsen the wishes of cave water turning it into dry conditions, while pose a mighty threat to endemism and flora and fauna.
Environmental and public lovers are restless to save Mollem from three linear projects.
