VALPOI: Thundershower extinguished Sattari Taluka on Sunday night.
Bath suddenly lasted for almost two hours and left many parts of the flood taluka.
The area inside and around the city of Valpoi also faces a power outage.
A road in front of the forest training school (FTS) in Valpoi was flooded and the traffic movement throughout the stretch was disturbed.
Shubham Shivolkar, a resident of Melauli, said that the area opposite the forest training school had faced problems with water logging over the past few years.
Every rainy season is the same story, he said, adding that because the road opposite the forest training school was the main road and leading to Panaji, all interference in traffic along stretching caused the main discomfort for passengers.
The government must come with a permanent solution for this problem, said Shivolkar even when he is one of the many stranded on the road on Sunday.
A large number of vehicles were seen stopped on both sides of the road.
The traffic movement is back only after the lowut water.
The streets are also flooded in Thane, Charvane, Nagargao and Hivre Villages of Sattari.
