PANAJI: Daily Covid-19 cases continued to demonstrate a downward trend using 645 new illnesses reported on Sunday.
Mortalities also revealed a similar fashion with the country visiting 28 people succumbing to the virus.
Testing is lower on weekends because many testing centers remain closed.
The situation positivity rate dropped to 20 percent.
Active cases also have reduced significantly to 14,010 following over a month.
Of the 28 dead person, 24 have been in the 45+ age category, that had been entitled to take the vaccine.
But, none was fully vaccinated.
Just five had accepted the very first dose of this vaccine.
Two girls aged 62 and 83 in Ribandar and Velim, respectively, have been declared brought dead and five died within 24 hours of hospitalisation.
The deceased also contained four young individuals aged 28, 31, 34 and 43 who’d no comorbidities.
