Panaji: Porvorim Mla Rohan Khaunte said on Friday that he had decided to oppose join Congress, and that he would oppose the assembly selection of 2022 as independent.
MLA Independent Two terms question the seriousness of the Congress in preparing polls, and said that while the other party had taken an aggressive stance, it had not yet reached the initiative.
Khaunte’s decision came for hours after his supporters stopped the Congress in bulk.
The journey was also approaching the heel of a signal confused Congress regarding the alliance for polls.
“The Congress has almost no presence in Porvorim.
The initiative of the president of the Congress is not an election advantage.
If you see one of the parties coming, each of them did their part, but I did not see anything that happened in Congress,” Khaunte said.
He said that many of his workers and supporters, including former members of Zilla Panchayat Gupesh rose, had joined the understanding that rising will be appointed as president of the Porvorim block.
With Congress twisted and could not form a Porvorim block, the supporters of Khaunte lost patience.
“They returned yesterday enough to be humiliated and insulted, because for more than a month nothing happened.
I told them that the congress style functions and operates, (and) they are not close to the election election or enter the election mode.” Congress seemed to want.
