Panaji: Kadamba Transport Corporation Ltd.
(KTC) restarted regular operations from the interstate bus from Goa to Beleagavi, Karwar and Sawantwadi from August 1.
“Initially, we only started the goals on the outskirts.
We will assess the situation and decide whether to increase the bus on the route.
Even if one person is found positive Covid, the whole bus must return.
Only people who present the results of the antigen test and the RPCR test carried out within 72 hours will be allowed to take the bus, “said the director of the crane KTC implementing director Pereira net.
At present there are only two buses between countries that will go to Karnataka and have nothing to Maharashtra.
One bus has been operating from Goa to Batalagavi, only available at the Margao bus depot, Panaji and Porvorim.
Goa buses to Gulbarga and mudding are only operating from the Vasco KTC bus for now.
“It is especially for migrant workers employed in Goa traveling to and from the country.
While there are around 30 to 50 goes per day, there are only eight to ten come to Goa, on average,” said a KTC official from the Panciji Depot.
In addition, the corporation has also continued the local schedule of Panaji to Ponda, Pernem and Bicholim after a year of suspending routes due to a pandemic.
“We used to run 45 schedules on these routes, which have been reduced to just six routes.
Leg cracks are seen only during rush hour – early morning and at night,” the official said.
