Panaji: A 15-year-old girl from Sanguem in South Goa is between seven Covid mortality reported on Wednesday because Goa records the highest Daily Covid infection during the ongoing third wave with 3,936 people testing positive.
Girl with leukemia and unvaccinations died in seven and a half hours of reception at Goa Medical College (GMC).
He reportedly had symptoms for two days and was received a day after he tested positive.
Of the seven deaths, three women and four men, one aged 61 and indigenous people of Belagavavi, were taken to death to the South Goa District Hospital and three others died in 24 hours in GMC.
Three of the six known status of vaccination, aged 15, 85 and 76, were not vaccinated.
One aged 56 only took a single dose of vaccines and the other two aged 70 and 81 had taken both doses.
Although the level of participants dropped to 38.8% (with 10,153 samples tested) compared to 45.8% Tuesday, the weekly district’s position count for North Goa for Sunday 12 January to 18 was 45.5% for North Goa and 34.9% for South Goa.
The active case is currently at 22,807 with 47 new hospitalizations and 3,889 new positive people in house isolation on Wednesday.
The 70-year-old man suffered from diabetes with chronic kidneys and kidney disease, while the 85-year-old man and the 76-year-old woman had hypertension as a comorbidity.
The 56-year-old woman has a COPD and 81-year-old man in diabetes, hypertension and heart condition.
Death was reported from Sanguem, Britona, Bicholim, Chicalim, Old Goa, Margao and Quepem (Original Beleagacav).
The state recovery rate has dropped to 87.9% with 34 release and 3,119 recovery for the last 24 hours.
