SALIGAO: Together with the state authorities declaring more lockdown relaxations, the Mapusa Municipal Council (MMC) has obtained a decision to re-open the fish economy in Wednesday onwards, using social distancing limitation and following SOPs.
MMC chairperson Shubhangi Vaigankar, as well as the civil agent, visited the fish market on Monday and scrutinized the complicated.
Vaigankar also scrutinized the vegetable marketplace where municipal employees are cleansing the marketplace.
“The state government has issued fresh guidelines that permits for tons of fish markets.
The Mapusa fish marketplace will be available from Wednesday, after all SOPs,” Vaigankar informed reporters.
She included that social distancing criteria will probably be adhered to rigorously.
The fish, vegetable and fruit markets at the Mapusa municipal marketplace have been closed as April 30 in light of the pandemic limitations enforced by the state authorities.
Consequently, a parallel economy across the roadside had begun from the Aldona cab stand, where both social distancing standards are broken.
