Panaji: The main secretary of Puneet Kumar Goel has been appointed as the Secretary of the New Chief of Goa.
He took over on Tuesday after Pentir Parimal Rai.
Since his post in Goa two years ago, Goel, 1991 cadre officers, had an important portfolio including finance.
He will now hold a portfolio held by Rai including homes, general personnel and administration.
