Keri: Moth Atlas, Endemic to Southeast Asia, which attracts the attention of natural lovers due to its beauty and majesty, looks recently in Caranzol, Sattari.
This moth is considered one of the largest moth species in the world.
In fact, the span of the wing of the female Atlas of the female is almost 10-12 inches, wider than the human hand.
During the rainy season, the village of Caranzol, is located in the middle of the Mhadei wildlife asylum, living with various butterflies and moths.
However, atlas moths are not easy to see when they come out at night.
Interestingly, Vithoba Gawade saw a moth sitting in the tree branch that day.

Although the size is large, there is no mouth to eat after appearing from the cocoon.
It utilizes the fat that is maintained during the caterpillar stage to survive.
In fact, after spending about a month in a cocoon, Atlas’s moth didn’t live more than a week.
