Panaji: Part Four Lines from the new Zuari Bridge are finally set to meet the latest December settlement targets this year even though the project facing a series of obstacles, including the limitations induced by a pandemic.

Source said the government plans to inaugurate part four lines on December 19 to mark the 60th year of Goa Liberation.
It is expected to be discarded open to use by traffic as soon as possible.
“Pandemics have influenced work for a while, but the construction of the bridge has now taken speed.
There is good progress on work on the path of the approach too.
One part will be ready in December this year, according to the target,” Joshi said.
The bridge project will function as a toll road between Panaji and Margao, above the River Zuari.
While the bridge is 640m long, the road approach stretches from near Bambolim’s cross in North Goa to near the Verna industrial area in South Goa, which covers more than 13 km.
“Part four other paths from the project will be ready within six months of the first part completed,” Joshi said.
In the mid 2022 all projects including bridges and road approaches would be complete, except the tower planned on the bridge as an international tourist object.
Working in the tower has not been tendered.
Opening part four paths for use will eventually mean ending commuter discomfort has survived because the work of the large bridge project has been ongoing since the end of 2016.
The source said that while the new Zuari bridge project plan included toll booths, there were plans to make them operational detained for now.
The government has also not announced whether the bridge will open for both Twowheelers and four wheels to use.
The source said, unlike in the case of setu on the Mandovi river where only four-wheeled vehicles were allowed to ply, the Zuari Bridge is expected to be open to all traffic, becoming an important relationship between the North and the Goose.
