VALPOI: aiming to remain directed to overcome the possibility of the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Public Health Center Valpoi (CHC) has decided to install the oxygen generation factory in its place.
The work on plants is underway and is expected to be completed in the next few days.
Valpoi CHC in-Charge, Dr.
Shyam Kankonkar, said that the factory will have the capacity to produce 400 liters of oxygen per minute and will have a 1,000 liter of saving gas storage capacity.
He also said plants would help strengthen hospital infrastructure.
Minister of Health and Valpoi BJP Legislator Vishwajit Rane said, “In our joint efforts to overcome the third covid wave, we installed an oxygen generator plant in Valpoi CHC on a war footing.
This oxygen will be used to oxenate all beds in CHC to handle emergency situations.”
