Margao: Given the Qurbani, the sacrifice of livestock rituals during the Eid-ul-Zuha, South Goa collector Ruchika Katyal on Saturday issued an order that requested the provisions of part 144 of the criminal procedure code, prohibiting meetings of four or more people and around the edge of a compound wall of modern cutters on The Goa meat complex, USGAO, and within a 1 km radius of the compound wall.
Orders run out will remain valid for nine days, from midnight July 17 to midnight July 25, Order State.
Show that it is in accordance with the practice for Qurbani, animals transported from other countries, through the border gate in Mollem in Dharbandora Taluka and Pollem in Canacona Taluka, to cutting in USGAO for massacres, Katyal, stating that slaughtering animals in the abattoir are being monitored by the Bombay High Court in Goa.
Orders also show that according to the direction of the High Court, a committee has been formed to monitor the entry of cattle brought to be slaughtered in catattouir.
District judges have directed further that representatives of the Department of Food and Medical Administration and the Department of Animal Husbandry and Animal Services must be placed on duty at Mollem and Pollem gates to ensure compliance with rules and conditions related to transportation, and the direction of the High Court.
Furthermore, with the intention of preventing unwanted incidents and to defend the law and order, katyal on Saturday issued a separate post.
Most their respective executive judges at the Mollem and Pollem border gate, as well as in the Goa Meat Complex, from July 17 to July 25.
The executive judge has been assigned “to help the police in controlling the law and situation of order such as and when animals / meat are being transported to Goa”.
