Panaji: As the Directorate of Education (DOE) has allowed schools to start offline classes for students from class IX to XII, most of the schools with high registration are expected to start the complete physical session only after the holidays.
Because instructions that allow offline exams for class XI and XII come first, the majority of higher secondary schools have been tested scheduled from Monday.
For class IX students and X too, the online exam is currently underway.
School management says that, besides the medium exam, DoE instruction for offline classes has come in a short time and they need time to complete the schedule for full classes.
“We held a meeting with teachers on Saturday and there discussed that we have a high registration of more than 1,000 students.
We need time to complete the pattern for offline classes.
Offline classes also may not interfere with the online session for class V to VIII.
So after We complete the appropriate schedule, full-cleded classes will be held after vacation Diwali, “said Satyesh Kakodkar, manager of the New Educational Institute, Curchorem.
He said having a class for class IX and X students in offline mode for one or two hours can also interfere with their ongoing examination, if there is a Covid-19 infection case.
“We must be careful because we are high registration schools.
Students have come home for almost 20 months now, so we intend to do a gradual transition, and we plan to start with a mixture of online and offline sessions first,” said Kakodkar.
Rahul Deshpande, the trustee of the People’s Middle School Mandate, Panaji, also said that the Institute was still in the process of placing protocols for full offline classes.
“For class XII, the offline exam will begin on October 18 and for class IX students and x tests have begun and only two papers remain.
After the IX and X class examinations are finished, we will first call them to school just to overcome difficulties What they have.
Class will be held in mixed mode at first and after Diwali will be a full class, “Dishpande said.

He said that once the test ended, each class held during the holidays would be held in offline mode, following the Covid protocol.
“The actual class will begin around the Diwali holiday end.
The government has made the right decision in allowing offline classes.
The decision is in accordance with representatives and demand for the minister of chairman made by higher school principal forums,” Barve said, newly said -Barbaru retired as principal and continues to be an association with the institution.
Dr K B High School Hedgewar, whose parents, teachers and students have recently held protests in Panaji demanding offline classes and exams, not wasting time.
The school starts the offline exam for class X students from Saturday itself, just one day after the DOE circle is issued.
“We started our offline test for 120 class X students.
Because we are a large school, only 12 to 15 students sitting per class.
Post the exam, we will start the offline class after the Holiday Diwali,” said the Satsar Vilas Vilas Headmaster.
In some rural schools in Bicholim and Canacona, the Institute has begun offline classes with written approval of parents, because students cannot regularly enter online classes due to poor connectivity.

Because of connectivity.
We follow all Covid protocols by just sitting children per bench and monitoring their temperature.
