Panaji: Secretary General of Congress Priyanka Gandhi made a tone for women to be given a ticket to fight for the election, which stated that women were practical and could end the politics filled with today’s hatred.
Gandhi said that if a woman consists of half of the population, a representation of 50% must be given to women.
Speaking in Jest, Gandhi turned to the State Congress official and said he needed to “convince these people” about choosing a female candidate.
“When women are 50% of the population, it is the right to have 50% of representation, and it is not something that makes us a help,” he said.
Indicates that there is a sharp increase and crime against women in Goa, Gandhi emphasizes the need to bring more women into policy making.
“A minister in one of these cases blames the girl because of the violence that occurs against it.
And this is a typical mindset that does not endanger the truth, does not accept the fact that women are the same.
You know that I have worked very hard to bring women into the political process , “Gandhi said.
He also said that women can bring their favorites and affection into national politics.
“Politics has been filled with hatred.
It was filled with anger.
I strongly believe that the woman is, being practical people that we, and must always handle so much, they can actually bring them that compassion is political,” Gandhi said.
“Maybe after my work was finished, I had to come here, working hard to convince these men,” he said in joking.
