PANAJI: Candidates for Navelim AAP Pratima Coutinho broke down during a press conference on Thursday through a video that contained the comments “degraded” made by it by the Candidate Congress Navelo Furtado.
Furtado had hit him after he claimed that if he won the election, he would join BJP and given the Ministry of Sports.
Coutinho said he had never imagined that Furtado would bend this low.
“In showing my character, he played dirty politics just because I was a woman,” he said.
Furtado has called the accusation baseless and has asked for an apology from Coutinho within 24 hours, failed he had threatened by filifying a defamation lawsuit against him.
