PANAJI: With a model of the behavior model it comes into force for the election of the State Assembly scheduled for February 14, North and South Goa District Judge has banned the sale of liquor after 11 o’clock at night.
Orders issued on Friday will continue to operate until the code of ethics applies.
Orders, issued based on part 144 (1) CRPC, stated that the sale of liquor in bars, pubs, huts, shops, clubs, allowance stores or any establishment were stopped every day at 11pm.
The company will be able to stay and operate after 11 nights to offer other services, but it will not be able to serve liquor after a deadline.
Every violation can be reported to the district judge’s office respectively.
Orders will not apply to bars or stores that do not have a license to stay open until 11:00.
With a flying team formed to act against violations related to behavioral guidelines, police and excise have been directed to ensure that the order is fulfilled.
