Saligao: Residents held a public meeting in Aldona to demand the right investigation of the mysterious death of a 19-year-old girl whose body was found on the Calangute beach.
The participants warned that they would convince if the authorities failed to resolve this case, while the speaker at the meeting criticized the government and engine investigation because it failed to reach the bottom of the kasing.
The late mother and relatives were present for the meeting, which peaked in a candle light procession.
This procession makes the road around the Aldona market complex.
The meeting decided to provide further direction to agitation if there were no actions taken against those involved in the incident after an impartial investigation.
Questions also grew up on deviations in post-mortem.
The meeting was attended by Advocates Sabina Martins, former Minister of Francisco ‘Mickky’ Pacheco, former MLA Kandolkar and AAP Convener Rahul Mhambre, among others.
