PANAJI: Raj Bhavan will remain closed for visitors until January 23, Secretary with Governor P s Seedharan Pillai said on Monday.
The decision was taken considering the increasing Covid-19 case in the state and after several staff were tested positively.
“Given the increase in Covid-19 cases and many staff Raj Bhavan has been tested positively, it has been decided that Raj Bhavan will remain closed to visitors for one week to January 23,” Secretary with the governor, Guurish Shankhwalkar, said.
He also said that all letters, files and correspondence will only be accepted at the main gate.
“In terms of exigit or urgent problems, visitors / public can contact the Raj Bhavan office for further guidance in this issue,” he said.
