PANAJI: The Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) has predicted high waves — from the assortment of 3.5 to 4.8 yards — across the Goa coast from Vengurla into Vasco.
The occurrence is predicted to happen till Friday.
Fishermen have therefore been advised against entering to the ocean.
The India meteorological department stated squally weather, along with wind speeds reaching 40-50 km/hr along with gusting to 60 km/hr, is very likely to prevail off and along the south east Maharashtra-Goa shore till Sunday.
The orange alert lasts for Friday, together with heavy rain at some areas and quite heavy rain at mountainous regions.
