Goa: Refusing tickets, Deepak Pauskar and Vinod Pienkar resigned as MLAS

Panaji: After they were rejected by tickets for the election of the assembly by their party, Minister of PWD and BJP Sanvordem Mla Deepak Paskar and GFP Siolim Mla Vinod Pienkar on Friday submitted their resignation as MLAS to the legislative secretary.
While Pauskar said that he would compete as an independent candidate from Sanvordem, Pienkar said that he would compete as independent, but it has remained open to the contest as the same-minded party candidate.
The day after he was rejected by the BJP candidate, Pauskar accused BJP from the fake RS 70 crore work fraud to deny the ticket.
“The next government must complete recruitment in PWD, if not, people will throw it away.
There is no fraud.
Because of the allegations of this scam, my picture was tarnished.
But it was planned to set aside me and I am sure that Sanvordem’s people with me,” said Pauskar.
“We support BJP for the development of the constituency of Pernem and Sanvordem and not for BJP benefits,” said Pauskar, a former minister also resigned from BJP’s main membership for the contest as an independent candidate.
“I will start my campaign from Sunday,” he said.
“If I say before that BJP will deny my nomination, then they will stop the development at Sanvordem.
I know that I will not get a BJP ticket to compare this assembly selection,” he said “BJP does not want good people like I.
BJP thinks differently.
“Pauskar has joined BJP in 2019 along with Manohar Ajgaonkar after combining the legislative Wing MGP to BJP.
The former minister said that from 16,000 registered BJP members, 60% had resigned from BJP, including the president of the booth.
He said that since 2019 he had worked for the party.
“I wasn’t hurt by BJP’s decision to deny tickets,” said Pauskar.
He said that he would solve the old demands of the Sanvordem constituency in a month after forming the next government.
Demands include sugar mills and mining, among others, he added.
Sanvordem people choose an individual and not for a party, said Pauskar.
He held a meeting with his supporters after he was rejected by a ticket.
