Panaji: With a low-pressure area marked well that produces heavy rain for the past few days spread on Saturday, the rainfall activity is likely to be moderate until Tuesday, although relieved can last only for three days.
Low pressure areas are likely to be formed above the northern bay of Bengal on 28 July which will intensify rainfall activities on Goa.
Heavy rainfall can be witnessed in several places from July 28.
This system can gradually intensify the typhoon or diffuse after several phases of activity, depending on weather conditions.
For the next three days, the amount of rainfall will decrease.
“Medium rainfall to the possibility will continue above Goa.
The possibility of very heavy rainfall is likely to be in isolated places above the Goa from July 25 to July 27,” a bulletin issued by the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD), Panaji state.
Sunny conditions sometimes bring some excitement and relief in flood conditions, because the quantum of rain decreases to the average every day only 14.7mm on Saturday morning, after two weeks of cloudy sky and unrelenting rainfall.
