Panaji: For more than twenty years after Goa received its first water policy, the team under the Department of Water Resources (WRD) has compiled a 2021 policy document which is revised to ensure future water security for the country.
However, the contents of the policy may be surprising for the state government.
While the Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant recently promised 16,000 liters of free drinking water supplies per month for each household, a new policy suggested that not provide water, call it resources owned by the community.
