Panaji: Goa reports 15 fatality Covid, the highest single number of third waves so far, encouraging deaths to 3,645 on Thursday.
The active case determination fell to 13,269 with recovery exceeding new cases.
The country recorded 955 new infections for 3,402 tests carried out and the level of the front was 28.07%.
The daily case count also rose below 1000-mark 22 days after the country saw the case up at a fast speed.
With 3,390 recovery, the recovery rate rose around 2 percent and stood at 92.80%.
71 patients were hospitalized while 41 were thrown away on Thursday.
Among the 15 victims, 10 were not vaccinated while two vaccination details were not available.
A 27-year-old man was the youngest fatality on the day, he died the day after he was hospitalized.
He also suffered from seizure disorders.
A 74-year-old man from Margao, who doubled, died at home.
He did not have comorbidity and died the day after he tested positive.
He had not displayed symptoms until a few hours before his death.
A man from Canacona and a 73-year-old woman from Ponda, both of them have comorbidity, died in 24 hours hospitalized.
Two men – a 46-year-old child from Margao and 41 years old from Vasco – both have comorbidity, died two days after they were hospitalized positively.
Except for two patients in the hospital for more than a week, hospitalization of other people, last for three to four days, and mostly, in all cases, patients shifted to the hospital, as soon as they tested positive.
