POINGUINIM: Increased water flow and rising at the salinity level in the upstream stretch of the Galgibaga River because violations in the sand by the sea have achieved agricultural activities with the field of salt water rendering that did not join in Poinguinim.

The stretch of the Canacona area along the river bank has been surveyed by the Department of Water Resources as part of the World Bank project to improve Bundh by building the structure of Gabion.
“The department must pursue this project because it not only protects the interests of 30 to 40 farmers, but also residents throughout the stretch of 3 km,” said Sunil Painglankar local.
Zonal Kirtiraj farm officer rose Gaonkar said that he had surveyed damage.
