Panaji: Goa reported seven Covid-19 deaths on Saturday, pushing a count to 3,096.
With 155 new infections and 183 recovery, the calculation of active cases is 1,959.
Of the seven fatalities, four died at Goa Medical College, two at the South Goa District Hospital and one death was reported by a private hospital in South Goa.
Although no of these people who died within 24 hours after entering, a 40-year-old man from Chinchinim did not have comorbidity, died after ten days in the hospital.
A 71-year-old woman from Navelim, did not have comorbidity, died after two treatments.
It is not known how long he was not healthy before he was hospitalized, while he also did not undergo the previous test.
The other death reported was that of two women – a 65-year-old woman from Ponda, a 71-year-old child from Goa Velha, and three men – 65 years old from Ponda, aged 70 years from Britona, and 77 years old from Margao.
Fifth has comorbidity.
