Goa Set January 10 Target for Vaxxing Group Age 15-18 years

PANAJI: The Ministry of Health aims to resolve the vaccination of children in the age group 15-18 years on January 10, before the top of the ongoing third wave and when the booster dose will be disposed of to health workers and elderly with comorbidity.
Previously said that vaccination for this age group will be completed within four days.
But with the state decided to also manage vaccines to a 14-year-old child who will spin 15 years, the target population for this age group was reworked from 72,000 to a little under one lakh.
Health officials then said that they would not be able to cover all beneficiaries in just four days, as intended.
Meanwhile, students with comorbidity, or those who are worried about taking vaccines, have also been given the option to take this in the district hospital or primary health center on Wednesday, between 9am and 13:00.
