Goa: Shantaram Kolvenkar Stop As Head of Ponda Civic

Ponda: Chairperson of the Ponda City Council (PMC) Shantaram Kolvenkar, who proved BJP’s efforts to ignore it in vain three months ago, resigned from his office with personal reasons.
He said he had resigned to allow new people to rise to Pos Chair.

Irked with this, on September 27, seven board members supported by BJP, including Deputy Chairperson of Virendra Dhavalikar and Ritesh Board members, Vishwanath Dalvi, Archana Dangui, Yaties Sawkar, William Aguiar and Anand rose, had moved movements without trust in Kolvenkar.
