PANAJI: Emphasising about the synergy and integration between the horns of the Indian Armed Forces, Flag Officer Commanding Goa Area (FOGA) Rear Admiral Philipose G Pynumootil stated that military personnel have been called on to serve the country with the identical courage and dedication.
Pynumootil was talking at the two Signals Coaching Centre (2STC), Bambolim after reviewing the passing out parade of 123 recruits.
2STC is the greatest training center of the Corps of Signs in the nation.
The Indian Army began the two Signal Centre in Panaji on December 9, 1962, following Goa’s Liberation and also to fill the emptiness created by the transport of this sign training center in Bengaluru into Pakistan during Partition.
“The role performed by signs and communication is very important for all operations performed by some of those three defence solutions,” explained Pynumootil.
The parade marked the culmination of some 19-week fundamental military instruction dedicated to those recruits, that will now go for specialized instruction.
This is the very first time an undercover officer has examined the passing parade from the sixty-year background of this training institution in Goa.

FOGA emphasized on the significance of Signal communicating across the 3 services.
