PANAJI: Congress said on Wednesday that Chairman of the Sawant Pramod minister insulted two leading goans – Padma Vibhushan Anthony Dias and former Army Chief of Staff General Sunith Rodrigues – by not recognizing appointments as governors.
The party has demanded an apology from Sawant because of his failure to recognize the leading two goans.
“We strongly condemned the actions of Sawant of Spread Lies, and demanded public apology from him because of insulting two leading goans who had contributed to the welfare of the nation and made every proud Goan,” said the Chairman of the Media Congress Panjikar Amarnath.
“Sawant must read a book and study history before making a wrong and misleading statement.”
