Panaji: The country reported 60 new Covid-19 infections on Saturday, took the calculation of active cases to 733.
68-year-old man from Arpora was the only fatality on Saturday, who died at the Goa Medical College.
He suffered from diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and chronic kidney disease.
The North Goa weekly front level at 2% continued to be much higher than South Goa at 1.2%.
Active cases are also higher in northern covers compared to in South Goa.
During the day, eight Covid patients were hospitalized and 52 chose to house isolation.
Six was sent home from the hospital and 74 recovered from Covid-19.
The level of state recovery stands at 97.7%.
Margao continues to have the highest active case with 66, followed by Panaji with 51, Chimbel with 46, Candolim with 42, Ponda with 41, Vasco with 34, Mapapaa with 31 and Canacona with 30.
Other health centers have active cases under 30.
Meanwhile, 1,670 people took their first Covid-19 vaccine shot on Saturday, with 9,242 other people get their second dose.
Until the 7.7 lakh people in the double state were vaccinated and 4.5 lakh were partly vaccinated.
