Panaji: The day after no Covid mortality, Goa reported six Covid-19 deaths on Sundays, the highest in two weeks.
With a little test done, daily infection at 75 was almost half reported on Saturday.
The current active case of the country is at 1.158.
Of the six mortality, five are in GMC and one at the South Goa District Hospital.
A child is 24 years old and 40 years old, both have chronic kidney disease and hypertension, are young mutalities.
The 24-year-old player, who also suffered from heart disease, was tested positive after entering and spent more than a month in the hospital before he died.
He complained of symptoms 28 days before hospitalization.
The 40-year-old woman from Margao was also tested positive on inpatient days and died after 17 days.
