In South Goa, the electricity department must enforce the restrictions on power consumption for several hotels in Cavelossim, after a collapsed pole and the line stumbled on Tuesday morning in Velim.

The department makes arrangements for alternative power supplies from Benaulim to Carmona and Velim.
