PANAJI: With lots at the 45+ age band reluctant to receive their Covid-19 vaccine, the government has chosen to start another 10-day vaccination push from Wednesday onwards with this group. Announcing the programme Monday, main minister Pramod Sawant reported that the Tika Utsav 2.0 will probably be held in cities and municipal locations. “This vaccination drive is for people who still have not taken their very first dose. The next dose won’t be administered at Tika Utsav 2.0,” Sawant stated In panchayat regions, the vaccination is going to be held in one place, whereas in suburban regions there’ll be two websites. Public agents and NGOs can help from the driveway. “Vaccination is the only choice to create Goa Covid-free. We have never been able to reach 100% property in the 45+ group, but we’re trying all probable methods to reach this goal,” the ministry said. Secretary wellbeing Ravi Dhawan stated Tika Utsav 2.0 will insure most of panchayats and municipal locations. “We’ve got an equilibrium of 2.8 lakh doses for all men and women in the 45+ age category.
