Panaji: Driving a Bengal victory, the Trinamool Congress has decided to enter Goa with all “seriousness” and will oppose the selection of assemblies scheduled for early next year.
“We are not here for (only) participating in the 2022 election but to win the election.
That is the seriousness we want,” Derek O’Brien, his parliamentary leader at Rajya Sabha, who had camped in Goa for the past few days, told toi.
Shows that TMC is related to some politicians who cut party lines, he claimed they had attracted “good people”.
O’Brien: TMC will even get a BJP voice, as happened in WBHE also said the party would make a formidable candidate in elections.
“TMC in Goa will be a party of Goa people, by GOANS and for GOANS.
We are the federal party and there is no high command culture here,” said Derek O’Brien.

The source at TMC told TII that the party would open his office next month after that West Chief Bengal Bengal Mamata Banerjee would visit Goa.
“They’ve been looking for office space and in October, party organizations will start operating fullfledged here,” said the source.
They also said the parties had been related to some senior politicians for some time now and they will take place next month.

A party official said TMC had done many foundations before deciding to oppose Goa polls.
“The decision was taken by Didi and his team after the political strategy institution involved by the party submitted a report,” O’Brien said.
A 180-year-old team from the Prashant Agency of Political Strategy in Goa for more than two months before preparing a report on the political situation in the state.
They found that there was a strong hatred in the state against BJP and that there was room for the formidable opposition to fight the Safron party, TMC source said.
Analyzing the report, the TMC Core Committee decided to expand its base in Goa, besides Tripura.
