“We have started the empanelling software company to develop solutions for the government,” Sawant said in online interactions with the Goa Technology Association (GTA).
“Until now, we used to outsource all e-governance solutions for gel, but now we will provide companies registered with the Tech Corporation of Goa Info.” Former President of GTA Mangirish Salelkar said that the IT sector continued to struggle with the internet and a reliable power supply.
Sawant said that the problem was being seen.
Salelkar also shows that 14 IT companies seeking benefits under the IT Cave policy, 2018, have not seen disbursed incentives.
He also said that several startups were waiting for incentives to be disbursed.
“We have processed 14 applications and applications have been sent to the high-powered committee,” Sawant said.
“Next month, they will be approved.
I have given instructions that the delayed expenditure under the startup policy is cleaned in September.”
