PANAJI: The Goa Government on Friday announced that it would introduce a special program to take government services to the door of people from September 19.
Speaking to reporters, the Chairman of the Minister of Pramod Sawant said “Sarkar Tumchya from” (the government in front of your door) will be launched from the constituency of the Thiim Assembly in North Goa on September 19.
Representatives of all state government departments concerned will be present for initiatives and will deal with problems submitted by locals and even delete pending files, he said.
The minister’s chairman said he would also be present for the program for half a day.
Problems regarding ration cards, aadhaar cards, voter IDs, daily and social security schemes, chilty cards and social welfare schemes will be overcome by senior officials, Sawant said.
This initiative will be carried out on different assembly constituencies throughout the state, he added.
