Goa: Two arrested for stealing metal plates

Saligao: Police Mapapa on Saturday arrested two people because of stealing 45 metal plates worth Rs 1 lakh which was installed on the wallside walls of the construction company.
According to a police complaint submitted by Henrique Cardozo, 57, a resident of Painavaddo, Thivim, on Saturday at around 4:30 p.m., the people accused of carriers stealing plate belonging to the company where the complainant worked as an employee.
During the investigtion, the police intercepted the vehicle carrying goods together with two men – Rajuel Shaikh, 21, and bipul biswas, 41, both residents of Merces, and restored the stolen property on Merces.
The police have registered a case below Section 379 from the Indian Criminal Code (IPC) which is read with Section 34.
Further investigation is taking place.
