Vasco: A young man sank, while the others were feared sinking, at Utorda beach in Salcete, on Sunday night.
Police Verna along with Indian beach guards launched a broad search and rescue operation on Monday morning, but one young body can still be found.
Mustaki children, Mustakim Shaikh, 24, from Dotel, and Anwash, 19, from Chandrawado in Fatorda, have come to the beach along with their friends on Sunday and disappear while swimming in the rough sea.
Shaikh’s body has been tracked.
Friends have told the police Verna, who started the search and rescue operation.
According to sources, the helicopter began looking for operations at 8 am, which continued until late afternoon.
In the afternoon, the Indian coast guard ship took over the search operation and was in the waters until night.
The search will continue on Tuesday.
